Twenty-plus years ago on the Southside of Chicago where founder Josef B. Cannon began dreaming of stories that he wanted to bring not only to the big & small screen, but also to the stage, CannonVision Productions was established. ​Over the years, Josef has been able to achieve high levels of success on all three media platforms.

The company's evolution mirrors the landmark events in Josef's personal life. From the early stages of "Baby Shelby Productions" (named after his youngest daughter Shelby Nicole Cannon) to "TanCan Productions" (with producing partner Tanya Harris, whom he met & worked with in London, England) to "Cannon-Karst Productions" (with producing partner Adam Karst, whom he met & worked with in Bangkok, Thailand, along with Bangkok-based partner Ken Streutker) and finally "CannonVision Productions," the production umbrella under which all of the above operate.
